The Democrats almost never try to stop him. Trump has overseen the deaths of more than 205,000 Americans in less than seven months and the Democrats have never suggested impeaching him again or taking any steps to remove him from office.
I've been trying to think of any specific instances in the last few decades when the Democrats grew a spine and drew a line in the sand on an important issue and simply refused to budge. They may have done it, but I'm drawing a complete blank.
As far as elections go, Al Gore waived the white towel in 2000 well before all of the votes were even counted. John Kerry knew the 2004 election was stolen from him, but conceded before sunrise the next day. Numerous, serious anomalies in the 2002 and 2006 midterm elections were met with crickets.
The Democrats talk tough (maybe and then they give in. That's what they do. There is no real reason to believe Joe Biden will do anything different, if placed in the same situation.
The President says we need to have nine justices on the Supreme Court because “What they’re doing is a hoax with the ballots” pic.twitter.com/yue1Ozm0GO

They aren't hiding that they want to confirm a new Trump justice so that justice can steal the election.https://t.co/IKeFyXEk2O

@potus In broad daylight 1- lying about election integrity 2- admitting he’s rushing SCOTUS pick to be in place to help cheat in his reelection. https://t.co/6qxsYaJKfc

Again, basically everyone as far as I can tell, on the institutional GOP has basically signed onto Trump's explicit strategy to sabotage the administration of the election, undermine its legitimacy and then get the courts to throw out a bunch of ballots and hand him the WH https://t.co/XwVcSBZgSO
