Trump Refuses To Confirm Negative Test; Will Do Mussolini Impression For Thousands At White House Tomorrow (A Gallagher-esque Tarp Will Not Be Provided For The Front Rows)

On Friday night, Fox broadcast a recording of Donald Trump's first on-camera interview since reportedly being infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Trump took the opportunity to change his story on a few topics. He now says he never had any problems breathing and he amended his previous lie that he had stopped taking all medications. Mr. Big A-Brain now says: "We pretty much finished." (Trump also claimed he stopped taking all virus mediucations on Friday morning.)

Trump implied, but did not confirm, that he has not tested negative. (P.S. A person either tests positive or negative. There is not a sliding scale. Oh, your test showed only 17% COVID, drink some tea and you'll be fine. And "bottom of the scale" is not an actual saying for anything.) He also threw in the fact that his CT scans were "amazing".

Trump claimed Secret Service agents "had no problem" with his ego-stroking joyride last weekend and said the people in the car with him "were protected, heavily protected", but he never explained (because it's a lie) how that was accomplished.

The Washington Post reported:
Current and former Secret Service agents . . . were aghast Sunday night at President Trump's trip outside the hospital . . . saying the president endangered those inside his SUV for a publicity stunt.

As the backlash grew, multiple aides . . . called Trump's evening outing an unnecessary risk — but said it was not surprising. Trump had said he was bored in the hospital . . . He wanted to show strength after his chief of staff offered a grimmer assessment of his health . . .

A growing number of Secret Service agents have been concerned about the president's seeming indifference to the health risks they face when traveling with him in public, and a few reacted with outrage to the trip . . .

"He's not even pretending to care now," one agent said after the president's jaunt outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to wave at supportive crowds.

"Where are the adults?" said a former Secret Service member.

They spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retribution.
James P. Phillips, a doctor at Walter Reed and a professor at George Washington University, said the risk of viral transmission inside the car is "as high as it gets outside of medical procedures".
Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential "drive-by" just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. . . .
They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.
Jonathan Reiner, a professor of medicine and surgery at George Washington University, said hospital employees wear extensive protective gear — gowns, gloves, N95 masks and more — when they come in close contact with a coronavirus patient. "By taking a joy ride outside Walter Reed, the president is placing his Secret Service detail at grave risk."

Trump refused to say whether he was scared, but we know he was shitting-in-his-pants-scared. We know because Vanity Fair reported:
Trump grew visibly anxious as his fever spiked to 103 fahrenheit and he was administered oxygen at the White House, according to three Republicans close to the White House. Two sources told me Trump experienced heart palpitations on Friday night . . . "Am I going out like Stan Chera?"
Chera was a real-estate developer and friend of Trump's, who died of COVID in April.

Trump has a huge fear of his own death. (I read quotes, possibly from Mary Trump, but cannot locate the story now.) He's likely afraid he will die alone (he wasn't there when his brother died earlier this year and he chose to go to the movies instead of being at his father's side) and won't be able to respond to the bad press he'll get and the nasty things people will say about him.

Trump also argued with his doctors about going to the hospital last Friday. (He gave in, but waited until the stock market closed.)

Trump Gets Science News From Alex Jones

Trump, October 8, 2020:
Look at what’s happening with the rolling blackouts in California? Looking at where California is going to have to ration water? You know why? Because they set millions of gallons of water out to sea, out to the Pacific because they want to take care of certain little tiny fish that aren’t doing very well without water to be honest with you. But it’s a very sad thing that’s happening.
