The "Trump Claims He Witnessed A Crowd Of People Breaking Into A Closed Church To Pray" Edition
Trump is really trying to make "TRANSITION TO GREATNESS" a thing (this roundtable event in Michigan is an official taxpayer-funded White House function, not a campaign event) pic.twitter.com/eryj0iUv8l— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020

Does Trump ... does he think Jared Kushner is an African American leader? pic.twitter.com/vYX7pMYxEE— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
The extent to which Trump puts his family members in intimidating meetings/pressers so they can act as emotional support animals for him is just so sad & transparent.— NotATweeter16 (@NotATweeter16) May 21, 2020
His pathology informs every aspect of his job performance.

For the second straight day Trump is totally making stuff up about mail-in voting in hopes of getting people to believe it's ripe for fraud pic.twitter.com/Mbcoz8uDa7— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020

Trump on mail-in voting: "Who knows that they don't pirate. You know, they pirate these, uh applications. The print new, uh, voting forms." (This is totally made up.) pic.twitter.com/Fbr0vWNVa0— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
Ford has a policy that everyone in their plants is required to wear masks, but Trump is not wearing one pic.twitter.com/LM2u5Zv1RF— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
The blasting rock music is making Trump nostalgic for his rallies, which he claims will resume "sooner rather than later" pic.twitter.com/F6XvE2Ffod— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
Trump Invents The Michigan "Man of the Year" Award ... And Boasts That He Won It
Trump begins his speech at a Ford plant by boasting about winning the "man of the year" award in Michigan. There's just one problem -- he totally made it up. There is no such award. https://t.co/yhgNkparlk pic.twitter.com/d6n9YrqgpQ— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
"As you remember, we took over empty cupboards. The cupboards were bare" -- This is not true, but trying to blame Obama for coronavirus has become a standard part of Trump's speeches pic.twitter.com/RpJ29OxF2q— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
Trump on notorious anti-Semite Henry Ford: "Good bloodlines. If you believe in that stuff, you've got good blood." pic.twitter.com/Vvoeu8pSXX— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
During World War II, Henry Ford knowingly used slave labour at a German Ford plant to manufacture equipment for the Nazis. Adolf Hitler considered Ford an inspiration and kept a photo of Ford behind his desk.
In 1923, Hitler described Ford as "the leader of the growing Fascisti movement in America", said he "admire[d] particularly his anti-Jewish policy", and wished he could send some of his "shock troops to America" to help Ford get elected president.
Good bloodlines!
Here's Trump claiming, oddly, that he "bought plenty" of Ford cars— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020

This is a taxpayer-funded White House event but Trump is giving a rally-style speech, including bashing Hillary Clinton pic.twitter.com/bjTVuVH1J5— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
"I don't know how the hell these unions aren't endorsing Trump instead of the standard Democrat. A Democrat that doesn't even know where he is" -- again, this is not supposed to be a campaign speech pic.twitter.com/zWtNkCbu38— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
TRUMP: "A permanent lockdown is not a strategy for a healthy state or a healthy country. Our country wasn't meant to be shut down. We did the right thing, but now it's time to open it up. A never-ending lockdown would invite a public health calamity" (This is a strawman argument) pic.twitter.com/o3yBz5mYzX— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
Trump has completely obliterated the line between taxpayer-funded White House events and campaign events. He's delivering a slightly watered down version of his rally speech. pic.twitter.com/jMVQpSdoNu— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
"I'll use one on occasion" -- minutes after telling a Ford workers that he owns "plenty" of Ford vehicles, Trump contradicts himself (note how his audience is completely silent) pic.twitter.com/xVpm7jin6P— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
Congrats to Ford leadership for inviting Trump to your factory thinking it would be great PR, only to have him say the vehicles you manufacture are too expensive. https://t.co/YxfsMdOHRV— Kendall Brown (@kendallybrown) May 21, 2020
They're even playing Trump's rally theme as he leaves the stage. The president traveled to Michigan for a mini-rally and taxpayers footed the bill. Ford was used as a prop. pic.twitter.com/HuxT929TGt— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020

Trump Throws A Twitter Fit, Yelling That Fox News Is Too Liberal
Someone on Fox News mildly rebukes Trump once every other hour or so and even that is enough to send him into a tailspin https://t.co/qNFiuWRtOn— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 21, 2020
....Hahn, Richard Goodstein, Donna Brazile, Niel Cavuto, and many others. They repeat the worst of the Democrat speaking points, and lies. All of the good is totally nullified, and more.
