Discussing Voting Rights, McConnell Says Both Blacks & Americans Vote In Similar Numbers

In case you missed it, Mitch McConnell said the quiet part out loud last night: “African-American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as Americans.”

The Washington Examiner erased McConnell's racism, dishonestly adding the word "other" to his quote.

McConnell absolutely did not say "other Americans". He was showing clear evidence that, in his mind, there is difference between black Americans and true Americans. There was no ambiguity.

The racism is all around us. Americans with white skin and British, Germanic, or Nordic ancestry are called "Americans". All other Americans are put into a specific hyphenated subcategory: African-American, Italian-Americans, Asian-Americans, etc.

The original voting rights act of 1965 was only good for 10 years and had to be re-authorized in 1975, it had to be re-authorized again in 1982, 1992, and 2006.
